I haven’t made a food post in awhile, so I’ve decided to share this healthy meal with y’all! Daniel and I love spaghetti squash because it’s still like eating pasta but without all the heavy carbs. I’ve listed below the things you’ll need to make this dish.
-16oz ground turkey
-1 green bell pepper
-1 med/large spaghetti squash
-1 jar of HEB red pepper pasta sauce (You can use any pasta sauce)
The very first thing you should do is preheat the oven to 350, and then you poke holes all over the squash and set in an oven safe dish with a bit of water. Let it sit in the oven for 1 hour then remove and let cool. While the squash is in the oven, you can put the turkey in a crockpot, or any big pot you have. Add the ground turkey, chopped bell pepper, and the jar of sauce together in a pot and then stir every 2-3 minutes until fully cooked. Once the squash is cool enough cut it in half and take the seeds out, then get a fork and scrape the inside out (it will be stringy like spaghetti). Put the squash into the turkey mixture for 20 minutes, and after the 20 minutes serve and enjoy!
