Worth It Items on Sale

Hello everyone! I know I haven’t been blogging much lately, but I am always active on my YouTube channel ( here ) or my Instagram where I always link my ootds! I wanted to share some of my favorite items as well as pieces that are simply at a great price!

Clothing: These Frye boots can be pricey, but if you want to invest in a good pair of leather boots for years to come I highly recommend them! Anything Olive is perfect for fall/winter and I’ve seen this vest all over Pinterest styled in numerous ways, so this is a great price for a staple piece! I see tons of bloggers have stacked gold bracelets but sometimes for 1 bracelet, it can be $20-$30! I think this is a great affordable set that you can wear all year round to add some sparkle to your outfits.

Beauty: Another item I’m in love with is the Patchology eyepatches, they really de-puff and wake me up in the morning! I take a while to fully wake up, so when I grab a cup of tea or coffee I put these on while I scroll through my phone and it’s like a mini spa to wake you up in a great mood! Since we’re on the topic of beauty, I highly recommend the loose setting powder I linked below! A little goes a long way for me since I’m not oily and I’m so happy it’s on sale. Lastly, the Smashbox lid primer isn’t something I’ve tried [yet] but I do plan on purchasing it due to always hearing people rave about it!

Fall Obsessions

Hello everyone! I wanted to share some affordable fall items for your home and for your closet that you can wear the rest of the year! I’m one of those people who get a fall wreath/door sign that says “Welcome” with a pumpkin on September 1st haha!

I have always searched for a fall/winter hat but without a $150-200 price tag, so I was happy to find this tan one from Target! During the Nordstrom sale everyone got this leopard scarf- I know leopard anything will be very popular this season.

About the home items- I have always been curious about these Homesick candles if they really smelled like a state would… and this Texas one is amazinggg!! It smells just how you’d imagine Texas smelling but it’s also a great fall scent. One of my favorite items are the cookie cutters, because I love having family over to make them.

1. Gather pillow // 2. Leopard scarf // 3. Bear bangle // 4. Texas scent candle // 5. Friday night lights // 6. Flannel blanket // 7. Tan hat // 8. Mug // 9. Boots // 10. Cookie stamps

Recent Purchases

I wanted to share my recent purchases with y’all! I did get all of these items on sale during the Nordstrom sale, and unfortunately, they are back to their full prices if you didn’t already snag them.  I am going on a trip to Utah soon so most of these items were to have for the trip. I wish I could wear them now, but Houston is too hot still haha. If you couldn’t tell, I’m obsessed with any leopard/cheetah print! I went up half a size in the Topshop sneakers and I’m glad I did. My absolute favourite item from the sale is the oil diffuser! I’ve been looking at them forever and sometimes they can get very pricey so I believe I got it for $29! I use it every day. The most expensive item I got was the Frye Boots, I originally went in to try on the Tory Burch boots but decided they were a little too sleek-looking for my style so I went with these! Like I said, they’re pricey but I know I’ll get a ton of wears out of them.

Cyber Monday Deals!

Happy Cyber Monday!! As a lot of people know, I love Nordstrom. They almost always have everything in stock so that I can show Y’all the great deals! They have tons of other name brand items under $100 for today that y’all should go see.

So first off, these boots. REAL leather booties for under $100!? What a deal. I love mine because they go with anything. They can make a look edgy or just wear them casually. Now this sweater. I would recommend going down a size if you want a more fitted style. I got a medium which is true to my size, but is a tunic length to me. It’s so soft and can be worn with boots and jeans! That’s my go to look for winter with this sweater. Plus it comes in more colors! These jeans are my favorite. I love all the jeans from this brand! I wear these jeans with anything, and they last long! I have a habit of pulling up my jeans by the loops and they would always rip so I switched to this brand and I’ve never had an issue with their jeans! Rebecca Minkoff under $100. What a deal. Everyone should have a black cross body for those night outs or dates!

About Me

Hey y’all! I’ve never formally introduced myself so here I go!

My name is Natasha O’Neal, I’m 20 years old and love anything about animals! As a few of y’all know, I love baking and cooking. My dream kitchen is basically anything in Williams Sonoma. The most important thing is that I hold my family and God as the top priorities in life, and wouldn’t want anything else above them!

Okay, so I have a confession… I’m a cat lady. I’ve had cats all my life and currently have 6 cats!! (That’s including the stray my family has been caring for) 3 of my animals are rescues. I also have a pitbull mix and have had other exotic animals like iguanas and ferrets! I can not turn away animals. I can talk about animals all day!

LOVE home decor. I fall for Homegoods and Target all the time. I mostly go for unique pieces or any rustic/home vibes. My favorite holiday is Christmas, so just imagine how crazy I get with decor around December! My tree is already up haha.

One thing I believe that is very important to do is to give back. See a homeless person on the street holding a sign saying “Hungry” and you have food? Offer it to them. Being kind to others is not hard. We need kinder people in the world. Does your church need volunteers? Offer your help. Love animals? Go volunteer at a shelter. I’m such an emotional person that when Daniel and I were at Crackle Barrel (My favorite place) We saw this old man alone praying over his food and me just teared up because it was the cutest thing ever.

I love traveling and learning. Both of my grandmothers taught me to always stay in school and to explore the world. Like I said earlier, I hold my family dear to my heart so of course, I did what they said. I took my first trip outside of the country to Haiti….and I loved it! I would highly recommend going on a mission trip or vision trip for your first time out of the country. Also, I’m currently in college aspiring to become an occupational therapist! I love helping people and would love to work with children. I basically love everything haha!

Here’s what I’m wearing! It’s so comfy for the fall weather that finally arrived.

Flannel  | Shirt | Jeans | Purse  | Boots

Hope y’all loved getting to know more about me!

Christmas Picks 2016

I can’t EVEN! It’s already November.. I haven’t shopped at all for Christmas presents, I don’t know where to even begin. I usually Christmas shop in July or August so don’t end up rushing, yet here I am this year doing just that!

It’s a tradition to always get yourself Christmas pjs right? I’m loving these ‘Ok, but first presents’ set from Nordstrom! I’m always the 1st person up because I’m excited for Christmas breakfast and presents. One thing I want so bad is the kitchen aid stand up mixer but I also don’t need to be dropping $300 on a kitchen mixer right now. So I picked a similar one for HALF the price! Fellas, get this if your lady loves cooking. Also, every girl needs a nice pair of boots! The ones below are simple and will go great whether you’re running errands or dressing them up.

The cliché handyman set is a must. I know guys love fixing things, even if they  just mount the tv on the wall to watch football, they’ll love it! This skin care set is a DEAL! Three 3oz tubes and a facial bar for $50. That’s not some small tubes, that’s a full size! Also I know there’s a few things the guys in my family can not live without so I added those in this post too!

Most importantly, there’s gift ideas for the ladies, men, and couples! Nothing like a monogrammed blanket for a couple to cuddle up with by a fire drinking hot cocoa! Every newlywed couple or just everyone in general needs a $20 crock pot, because I mean it’s just $20!? At least that’s why I bought myself one and love it. Kitchen products are a necessity for couples who are living on their own, so it’s a perfect gift!

Crockpot Cooking: Chicken Chili

  • 2 cups of corn
  • 1 can of black beans, drain juice
  • 1 can of pinto beans, drain juice
  • 1 jalepeno shopped (leave seeds in or out depending on what you want)
  • 1 stick of celery chopped
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/4 chopped red onion
  • 14oz of peeled tomatoes (blended a bit, because they might be in chunk form)
  • 3 lbs of chicken (tenders or breasts)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1-2 tsp chili powder to your liking
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Once you’ve chopped up everything, add all the spices and veggies together. I like to place the chicken on the bottom of the crockpot, because all of the juices will soak into it making the chicken taste better! Then you put your Crockpot on low until chicken is ready. I usually leave everything cooking for about 3-4 hours just to have the flavors mix together, once done shred chicken.I love making this for my family because they’re all meat lovers so this is a healthier option than beef.

Pair with some jalepeno corn bread and some fresh avacado topings then enjoy!
