Skincare routine with Ginamarie

I recently teamed up with Ginamarie products to test their skincare and makeup products to share with y’all! I’ve been using their skincare products for over a week now and my skin has been so soft and healthy. I suffer with dry and sensitive skin, so trying new skin products usually scares me (unless my sister gives me the ok) because she is an esthetician. However, these Ginamarie products are so gentle and simple! I love it all. One of my favorite products is the Herbal E Oil, which oils can be bad or good due to them clogging up pores but this one is so good.

If you’re a mask person then you’ll love the Marine Mint Mask. If you go here and search for the ‘Mini Skincare Kit’ you’ll get a nice sample of everything before you fully commit to the full-size products! You can read all of my tips and tricks about their products here as well. Just click on ‘Natasha’s Beauty Tips & Tricks’ on the page to read!

I hope y’all enjoy this review of Ginamarie! I post for them every month so always go back to that link.

Easy Chicken Enchiladas

Hey y’all! I know it’s been awhile since I’ve done a food post so I decided to share this easy dinner recipe! In no way is this an authentic Enchilada recipe, but it’s yummy and easy!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 2 lbs chicken tenders
  • Shredded cheese of your liking
  • Corn tortillas
  • Green or red salsa 1 cup

First, I made sure to get any fat off the chicken. In a large pan pour half a cup of the salsa and add the chicken. Let the chicken cook in the pan with the salsa on both sides for 5 minutes on medium heat with the lid on. Once all the chicken is done cooking, shred it in a large bowl. When you’re done shredding, place a medium amount of chicken into tortillas then roll up and place into a medium deep baking dish. Repeat until the dish is filled. Then pour the desired amount of your salsa over the tortillas and then cover with cheese. Lastly, place in oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until cheese is melted. Then enjoy!

Pair this with some rice and beans and you’re set! The only time-consuming part is the shredding, the rest is easy. I hope y’all enjoy this and have a great weekend!

How to deal with negative people & things

Have you ever had someone tell you something completely rude? Have you ever had a rude coworker? I can raise my hands for both. Another thing is that when I see what awful things are happening in this world, I hurt. We’re allowed to get our feelings hurt from rude people, and we’re allowed to be sad from the world issues.

But how do I stay positive??

Rude people:

Whenever people get sarcastic with me or just flat out rude, I take a second to breathe and try to understand why they’re acting this way toward me. Trust me that reaction of mine didn’t happen overnight. I had to work on being still during a moment like that. I work in retail, so when I have a customer give me attitude or just being rude I try to find out the issue and try my best to fix it. If you can’t help someone then you’ll have to know that it’s okay and you tried. You’re not responsible for people’s unhappiness so don’t take it personal.
One thing I was taught years ago was to not judge anyone or assume anything because you never know what their day/life is like. I take every opportunity (the best I can) to shine some light. Remember no one is perfect and even we have our bad days. I’m not going to lie, when there’s just no way that a person will be nice I just tell myself “This is God’s daughter/son and he loves them so I need to show some love no matter what.”

When bad things happen:

Yes, we all deserve to be sad or upset whenever something bad happens. I had a crappy day last week where I just got so tired of struggling and seeing other people struggle that I just wanted to cry. Instead, I took a few deep breaths and told myself it could be way worse and God will help me and us through this. I’m always blessed to have a healthy family, a roof over my head, and a job I love so things will be okay. When I see bad things happen around the world it hurts my heart and it makes me angry and sad. I think so many people make decisions based on what they want and what’s best for them that they just forget about everything and everyone else in the world. Y’all I honestly get sad when I hear that trash is in the sea and it’s bad for turtles. I wasn’t kidding when I said things make me sad. The only thing we can do is our best and that’s it. One person can’t change the world, but if everyone does the best they can the world will be fabulous!

Does NeuLash eyelash serum work?

Hi there! I know I missed my post yesterday, but I’ll stay on track after this! Daniel and I just got back from California and we’re sad our vacation went by so fast. I’ll try to make a video about our trip (if my editing skills cooperate) haha.

I get told a lot that I have thick/long eyelashes, but I’ve always wanted them to be longer. One thing I’m guilty of is when I have a clump of mascara, I will pull it off my eyelash causing me to sometimes pull my lashes out. I know that sounds disgusting and it’s not good to do- so that’s why I decided to purchase NeuLash. I was going back and forth about if I should buy the NeuLash eyelash growth serum for months, and then I finally bit the bullet and did. It’s not cheap at all- just for .11 fl oz is $95! I know, my heart hurt too the first time I saw it… that’s why I saved up to test it for yall! I’m not gonna lie to yall, the directions say to apply it on every night on your eyelash line (same place you apply liquid eyeliner) but some nights I forgot because I was too tired to remember. I have before and current pictures of my eyelashes below without any mascara

To be completely honest, my lashes do look fuller but not longer. When I apply eyelash primer and mascara they do look long! I am happy with my results due to me telling you how sometimes I’d pull mine out from mascara clumping. Would I buy this again? Eh.. if I needed them to be fuller again definitely yes, for length it didn’t do too much. I do love my results though, but it’s still pretty expensive. This post is based on my 1-month long process of using it. You can purchase it here

I hope this helps you if you’re on the line of buying this!
