Ballin’ on a budget | Pt. 2

Hello everyone! I know I haven’t been on here recently or any social media, but it’s been a crazy/rough month so far. I might not blog twice a week anymore, but I will try to do at least once a week! If I don’t post on here, you can subscribe to my YouTube channel Here because I’ll post once a week there.

Now to the good stuff! These Ballin’ on a Budget posts are my favorite to do, especially when I find designer dupes to share with y’all. It makes all the waiting worth it! My favorite items are the flat floral shoes and the leopard mules. Both of the name brand items are over $200, so I was a happy girl when I found both of them for under $100!

Black shirt: $13 option

Black earrings: Under $7 option

White shoes: $37 option

Leopard shoes: Under $60 option

I know it’s only 4 things, but I wanted to showcase items that are trending right now! I’ll be posting a Nordstrom Sale update soon if what I got- stay tuned!

Favorite Nail Products

Hello! I hope everyone is or had a great Memorial weekend! Today I wanted to talk about what my favorite nail products were.

I’m sure y’all have heard me say countless times about how I have dry skin, so I love using this Herbal E Oil on my cuticles! I’m trying to ball on a budget so I don’t really get my nails done unless I have a special event to go to- so I’d like to call myself a nail polish connoisseur haha! Nothing drives me crazy more than chipping a nail right after painting them. I work with my hands so I’m constantly putting nail polishes to the test.

The drug store nail polish that I love is by Sally Hansen and it’s the Miracle GelI’ve purchased 2 different colors in that line that I love. They don’t chip and they last for days. Like I said I work with my hands so if you don’t then I’m sure they’ll last longer for you. When I say they last for days that means without any chipping. They retail for around $8.

One brand that I absolutely love (if you can find it) is Odeme. I bought this green color called Oz in the picture and it lasts so dang long! One thing I was guilty of was not applying a base coat so when I took the polish off it stained my nails yellow-which freaked me out at first! It is such a pigmented color and even 1 coat looks really good. I bought this from a local boutique called Beehive which I’ll link here. If you want to purchase this brand of polish online you can click here to go to their website. This polish retails for $12.

I had acrylic nails for years, so my nails became very thin. One thing that I don’t see a lot is biotin in womens’ daily vitamins so when I saw these 365 vitamins from Whole Foods have them I had to get them! I’ve always had to buy a separate bottle of vitamins to help grow strong nails so I’m happy I found these.

I hope this helps y’all with any nail polish or nail care questions! It’s always great to get your moneys worth from nail polishes that don’t chip and to take care of your nails with vitamins!

Beautiful baubles under $100

Everyone loves some good jewelry, especially when it’s under $100! From hoops to bracelets I’ll show you my favorite pieces from that you can get at Target or designer brands.

One ring that I’ve been dying over is this silver simulated diamond band that’s only $99, but looks like it’s hundreds of dollars! These gold floral earrings are too cute to pass up, especially for under $60. I feel like they could make a simple outfit dressy without overdoing it.

BaubleBar has a great line at Target that looks expensive but it’s very affordable. The pink burst earrings and blue tassels are under $20 at Target.

Now, at BaubleBar’s actual website they are still very affordable! I’m talking about seeing a necklace for $700 and they made an affordable dupe for under $50 pictured here! This layered necklace is definitely on my wish list. They also have this gold link bracelet for under $40 which is a steal! I’ve always wanted a chunky gold bracelet that looks high quality, but don’t want to spend hundreds on it.

This James Avery silver twisted link bracelet has been on my list for months y’all! The best part is that now they are having a special called the Charm Event where you buy 2 charms and get a bracelet free up to $69 and this fits in it! Yep, I buy 2 charms and get this cute bracelet for FREE!

I’ve been eyeballing these Tory Burch pearl earrings for the longest time. They’re so classy and simple, I love them! I feel like retro is coming back into trend, so these 2 circle hoops are perfect for that and under $40.

Christmas Picks 2016

I can’t EVEN! It’s already November.. I haven’t shopped at all for Christmas presents, I don’t know where to even begin. I usually Christmas shop in July or August so don’t end up rushing, yet here I am this year doing just that!

It’s a tradition to always get yourself Christmas pjs right? I’m loving these ‘Ok, but first presents’ set from Nordstrom! I’m always the 1st person up because I’m excited for Christmas breakfast and presents. One thing I want so bad is the kitchen aid stand up mixer but I also don’t need to be dropping $300 on a kitchen mixer right now. So I picked a similar one for HALF the price! Fellas, get this if your lady loves cooking. Also, every girl needs a nice pair of boots! The ones below are simple and will go great whether you’re running errands or dressing them up.

The cliché handyman set is a must. I know guys love fixing things, even if they  just mount the tv on the wall to watch football, they’ll love it! This skin care set is a DEAL! Three 3oz tubes and a facial bar for $50. That’s not some small tubes, that’s a full size! Also I know there’s a few things the guys in my family can not live without so I added those in this post too!

Most importantly, there’s gift ideas for the ladies, men, and couples! Nothing like a monogrammed blanket for a couple to cuddle up with by a fire drinking hot cocoa! Every newlywed couple or just everyone in general needs a $20 crock pot, because I mean it’s just $20!? At least that’s why I bought myself one and love it. Kitchen products are a necessity for couples who are living on their own, so it’s a perfect gift!
